My Fashion Forward Valentine.

Elena and Parker against the pink wall on McIntosh Street.

Well, to start, I write for my college newspaper the Colonnade, and I also co-write a monthly fashion column called Thoroughly Modern Milly, named after the jaw-dropping play and for the nickname of my college town Milledgeville. This past week, I got to work on my very first fashion shoot and it was thoroughly enjoyable. The story line was about a couple, Parker and Elena, going around the town in Valentine's inspired clothing and having fun adventures together. My partner Danielle and I styled the shoot and we played off of Elena's love of ballet and our love of the many February issues of Teen Vogue for inspiration. I hope you enjoy it!

Acting as Schroeder and Lucy atop a Steinway in the music hall. Parker wears his suspenders and argyle socks to compliment Elena in a J. Crew ruffled silk wrap dress.

Dancing it up in an atrium that doubled as a romantic ballroom. Elena wears a slip dress from Anthropologie and Betsey Johnson tights.

Studying at the local Blackbird Coffee shop in shades of red. Elena wears jodhpurs from Madewell and a silk top from J.Crew.

Ascending the stairs of a local restaurant in a full floral apron skirt and bright pink lipstick. The skirt is Kate Spade and the blouse is Banana Republic.

The end of the splendid February day!
Happy Valentine's Day everyone.
