Coury, Joel, Liska, Brando, Gabe, and Nate
Castledoor. They came into existence in September 2004 in San Francisco and were initially made of two couples (like a modern day Mamas and the Papas). The two fellows, Nate and Gabe, were actually former members of the Christian boy band Plus One from a a few years before and then collaborated with their wives to form this band. Castledoor is considered melodic indie rock and their major hits have been the Birds and the Fleas, Dumpster Diving, and one of their newer songs Skipping Stepping Stones. Since the beginning, they have retained a consistent sound and still manage to throw in a really innovative meter with each new song. I have been listening since 2006 and they just get better and better as they turn out more albums. Check them out.
